GCC is for everyone and always will be

Joining GCC has never been easier, as either a player or social member. But what sets GCC apart from the rest?

Be part of a community, not just a team: We are all about being "One Club". Meaning that no matter your age, gender or ability, if you are a player, parent; you WILL be valued at Greenside
Make a difference in the community: Everybody at GCC has the opportunity to help with community initiatives, including coaching. We are pushing to encourage all of our members to get involved and give something back.
Striving for equality in opportunities across cricket: In 2025, we have built our "Plan 2030" which puts womens and girls cricket at the heart of our club. We continue to strengthen our male cricket, however we recognise that female sport in the North East needs a boost. We intend to be that boost as we strive to get more women and girls into cricket!
